This highly infectious remix takes De La Ghetto’s latest single to new heights as two titans in the urban music landscape bring the heat in this ultimate summer song. Following their last record-shattering collaboration of “Suave Rico” in 2020, this remix is reasserting their electrifying artistic chemistry. Rauw Alejandro’s verses are the perfect complement to De La Ghetto’s hit song, and their friendship is palpable, creating the ultimate ear candy. “Loco Por Perrearte (Remix)” featuring Rauw Alejandro is now available on all streaming platforms.
Directed by acclaimed Argentinian filmmaker Martín Seipel and produced by Motion Haze, the official music video is lavish, extravagant and seductive. Martin Seipel has worked with many distinguished artists including Duki, Khea, Emilia and Ruggero, among others. In this video, De La Ghetto and Rauw Alejandro’s partnership on screen and off is a visual masterpiece. Set in a grandiose mansion, the music video showcases masterful camera work and displays the pair in swanky and lavish clothing as a diverse cast of women, also in fine clothing, assert their beauty, power and femininity.
“Since the very beginning, Rauw and I have had a wonderful professional and personal relationship. Recently I joined him on tour and it was a great experience performing with him. I think we both enjoyed watching each other work and seeing how audiences connected with our music in so many different cities. I am super thrilled to have him on the remix, we had a fun time recording it and creating the video, and I think that our fans are going to love it,” said De La Ghetto.
“As a kid I listened to the music of De La Ghetto, his R&B and reggaeton inspired me in my beginnings. When I heard ‘Loco Por Perrearte’ I was backstage, changing my clothes in the middle of the show… I went out on stage and told Geezy, ‘I have to be on that remix.’ This song has that legendary feeling,” said Rauw Alejandro.
As an iconic figure in latin music, De La Ghetto is always challenging the status quo. So far in 2022 he has kicked off the next iteration of his career after creating his own independent music label and releasing “Loco Por Perrearte” in March, which has garnered over 13 million views on YouTube. Earlier this month, he performed in Las Vegas at Vibra Urbana which featured an all-star lineup including Don Omar, Anuel AA, Arcangel, Santa Fe Klan and Ivy Queen, among many others.
