4 Ward Miami proudly invites the local business community, supporters, and media to their annual Gala and sixth annual Pa’Lante Awards this upcoming February 10, 2022, from 6:00 PM – 9:30 PM at the historic Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables. The venue now celebrating 95 years, will be the perfect setting to network with Miami’s finest in the spirit of inclusion and diversity.
The 4Ward Gala and Pa’Lante Awards will serve to honor individuals who have made an outstanding contribution to building bridges in [our] community with specific emphasis on “Movimiento San Isidro” (The MSI Movement) and amplifying the voices inside Cuba which remain silenced by its military regime. These accomplished individuals have shown an unwavering commitment to stop social injustice.
4Ward Miami Inc’s focus this year has been on Cuba and the horrific injustice its people have suffered for decades and continue to live. The organization is committed to massive awareness of the cause via events and communication, with an ultimate goal of creating change. The 4Ward Gala program will include Steven Adkins, President, The Miami-Dade Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce presenting award to recipient Grecia Ordonez, Jencarlos Canela, Singer, Songwriter and Actor presenting to recipient Rosa Maria Paya, Liliam Lopez, Award-winning President and CEO of the South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce presenting to recipient Leroy Jones, Katherine “Kathy” Fernandez Rundle, Miami-Dade State Attorney presenting to recipient Miami-Dade County Judge Victoria Sigler.
This event is an exclusive fundraiser for 4Ward Miami, Inc which promotes diversity and inclusion. Additionally, 4Ward Miami has produced the Gay Ocho Festival, (an annual event taking place SUNDAY FEBRUARY 20, 2022) recognized as the largest diversity and inclusion festival in the nation. Attended by over 80,000 attendees, Miami’s Hispanic/Latino community hosts the fete. Through year- round programming by the organization promotes community engagement, human rights, as well as cultural arts and programs.
