Since making his debut at the age of seven, the Puerto Rican singer has gained notoriety throughout the world for his music and has worked with prominent musicians including Don Omar, Zion y Lenox, Farruko, and De La Guetto, among others. Xavi releases his brand-new track, «Mejor Pa Mi,» which was produced and written by Xavier Soto Rivera (aka Xavi), Izon, Hiram The Producer, Val2, and MP Mike. The musical piece tells the story of a love triangle in which the girl betrays her fiancé by sleeping with another man while simultaneously falling in love with him.
“Mejor Pa Mi” premieres with its official video clip directed by Steven Towers. The audiovisual piece was made in the artist’s native Puerto Rican town of Mayagüez. The sensuality and flirtation between Xavi and the girl can be seen in the video shots, which also have a traditional «vintage» aesthetic that aims to catch the audience’s attention.
