The track, now available on all digital platforms via 5020 Records, arrives with its official music video. “La Patadita” is a high-energy, feel-good track meant to get you celebrating, dancing, and embracing the spirit of the holiday season. Blending Beéle’s signature style with Crespo’s unmistakable vocals and infectious energy, together, the pair delivers a joyful anthem centered on celebration, unity, and good fortune.
The music video, filmed in Bogotá, pays tribute to one of Colombia’s most iconic television programs, El Show de las Estrellas, created by the legendary Jorge Barón. For decades, the show brought families together nationwide and made famous the symbolic “patadita de la buena suerte,” a gesture of prosperity and success that Barón offered to artists.
In a playful, modern reinterpretation, the video, directed by Saumeth, recreates the spirit of the show, renamed El Show de la Coletera, and features Jorge Barón himself, honoring this beloved cultural tradition with a contemporary twist that reflects both artists’ personalities.

Despite coming from different generations and corners of the Latin music world, Beéle and Elvis Crespo found a natural creative spark in “La Patadita” united by the same intention: to make music that brings people together.
“I’ve known Beéle since before he signed with Luyan. I always knew he had incredible talent because the first time I saw him was when he performed with his guitar at just 15 or 16 years old. This collaboration was born in Bogotá earlier this year, when I ran into someone from his team at a mall. They played me the song, I loved it, and the next day I met up with Brandon to record it. I’m thrilled to collaborate with such a young and brilliant artist. It allows me to bring something fresh to my career and connect with new generations.”, said Elvis Crespo
Elvis Crespo remains one of the most influential Latin artists of all time. This year, the global music icon released his most recent album Poeta Herío to global acclaim, reaffirming his place as one of the genre’s most influential voices. Fresh off his Good Morning America live performance and his induction into the Billboard Hall of Fame, Crespo continues to expand his legacy while reaching new generations of fans around the world.
The release of “La Patadita” follows a defining year for Beéle, recently named #2 Latin Artist of 2025 by Billboard. His latest solo album BORONDO surpassed 6.3 billion global streams, climbed to #4 on Spotify’s Top Global Albums, and reached #1 across multiple Latin American markets. Rolling Stone en Español also named BORONDO one of the Top Albums of 2025.
Last month, Beéle completed a historic run at Movistar Arena in Bogotá, selling out multiple dates of BORONDO Live due to overwhelming demand and ultimately adding an eighth show. He was also honored with two major awards at the LOS40 Music Awards Santander 2025: Best Latin Album (Global Latin Category) for BORONDO and Best Collaboration (Urban) for “Hiekka” with Nicky Jam
His milestone year includes standout moments with global superstars. Beéle recently joined Shakira and Ed Sheeran for a special performance of “Hips Don’t Lie,” and released the joint album with Ozuna, “Stendhal”.
